Based in Emerald, GRS Mechanical is locally-driven and specialises in major overhauls, field service and labour hire for the mining industry throughout the Bowen Basin region. As a service provider, the company's employees are critical and the quality of service provided by those people determines their success.

About the Opportunity

GRS Mechanical is currently seeking 20 qualified Diesel Fitters to join their team in the Bowen Basin.

The main aim of these roles are to provide skills and competencies associated with the maintenance and service on various types of heavy equipment.

The successful candidates will have relevant trade qualifications and current SGS and generic inductions, (or have the ability to obtain these prior to employment). Prior experience in the mining industry, and with Cat and Komatsu earthmoving equipment will be highly regarded, but is not essential.

GRS Mechanical offers stable employment, rewarded with an excellent remuneration package of $50 per hour flat rate, plus 9% super, with the potential to earn in excess of $100K from working 6 months in the year!

You will also enjoy 20 paid annual leave days and 10 paid personal leave days p.a., plus accommodation and meals whilst onsite.
